In recent times, the demands for behavior analysts to become more culturally sensitive to the populations they work with has increased. One population includes the Latinx population. While some behavior analysts may identify as Latinx; additional considerations should still be made, given that one perspective represents just one part of a larger collective. The first part of the presentation will provide attendees with an orientation to key words and areas to consider as it relates to working with the Latinx population. The second part of the presentation will include a panel discussion regarding personal examples, insight into experiences, and lessons learned by behavior analysts who identify as Latinx.
